Androgyny.

‘Androgyny’having the characteristics or nature of both male and female

The World War I led  to a reposition of women in society, many of whom cut their hair short, flattened their chests and adopted an androgynous ‘garcon’ silhouette. This was accented by the Coco Chanel’s usage of wool jersey, that had previously been used only for men’s undergarments, and reinforced by famous actresses, such as Marlene Dietrich, who served as a great inspiration for this post.

We usually implement  garments typically designed for men into our outfits, while still pairing them with "feminine" pieces, therefore "androgynous" is one of the adjectives we would use to describe our sense of style. By dedicating an entire post to this theme, we wanted to showcase the interesting twist male garments can provide and encourage anybody intrigued to try it out.
